Bug reports, questions, feature ideas: use the form or email auzi-support@netigen.com. Both land in the same inbox. Desktop bugs are better off as an issue on the repository, since that's where the fix has to happen anyway.

Local Data and Privacy

Auzi keeps its library data in a local database inside your selected music folder: <music folder>/.auzi/auzi.db. That database can include track records, relative file paths, playlists, metadata state, app-managed ratings or sentiment, paired-device state, and playback history.

Playback history and library details stay in that local database. When local device sync is enabled, paired companion devices may send playback history or feedback updates back to Auzi over your local network connection. Auzi does not send usage data, scrobbles, playback history, or library information to the author or to a cloud service.

Because music metadata, file paths, and listening history can be personal, treat the Auzi database as private local app data.

Licensing

Auzi Desktop and bundled project assets are licensed under the MIT License. The full text is available in the repository's LICENSE file.

That license does not cover music files, artwork, metadata, playlists, libraries, or other content that people manage with Auzi.

Third-party dependencies and assets keep their own licenses. See THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md and the repository's licenses directory for attribution and notices.
